This isn't an excerpt from original scripts just something I copied from deleted scenes...I wrote it down half a year ago, it was one of my favourite scenes:

Alternative Scene from Xena and Callisto, it's one of my favourites. I wish they had put this into the actual episode, but they didn't reasons idk. But it's a heartfelt conversation between Xena and Callisto, and to me whether they put it in the episode or not, this conversation happened:

Setting: Calisto and Xena sitting around a campfire, Gabrielle pretends to sleep. Xena is sharpening her sword with a rock. Callisto flickers her finger and the fire comes up.

Callisto: No need for firewood with me around.
*looks up at the sky*
Callisto: This is probably the last night sky either one of us will ever see.
*Xena looks up for a moment at the sky...then goes back to sharpening her sword*
Callisto: Xena about your son.
*Xena snaps her head up warning look in her eyes*
Callisto snaps back quickly: You just wait. Listen to me I have something to say.
Xena *silence* says in a cold voice: So say it.
Callisto: That night that I heard you screaming over his body. I want you to know that I felt nothing. No pleasure, no sense of fullfillment. I just felt...a horrible loneliness.
Xena: Should I feel sorry for you?
Callisto raises her voice a bit louder: I just want my creator to know why I have to enter oblivion. There's nothing left for me. All the love and joy I had died that night in Cirra when you killed my family. There was...there was...hatred... and resentment and that was....that was absolutely delicious...wonderful. But now theres nothing left...nothing. Do you understand me?
Xena stares into the fire: Yes I do.
She looks to Callisto who nods quietly, and looks away. Xena stares at her for a moment then stands.
Xena: I'm going for a walk.
(I don't know what she said here but it sounded like)
Callisto: Did we bond?
Xena definitely responds: No. (And walks away)


There's also another one with Hope that goes in and out:

Another alternative scene where the dialogue was a bit messed* up, because it goes in and out. I think it could have been better written:

Xena: I'll keep Callisto busy but you've gotta watch for Ares. Gabrielle we'll be lucky if we get one last shot at hope. I'm counting on you.
Hope(it's a bit muffled with background nose): I won't fail you Xena, not like I did the first time. [Xena looks at her a bit remorseful] Now tell me where in the ruins is the dagger.
Xena: It's in a tomb a family crypt....Gabrielle...when it comes Hope's time to die...I'll...I'll make it quick.
Hope: Yeah...unfortunately the poison I used wasn't fast enough. She suffered Xena. I tried to comfort her but I'm afraid it didn't do very good to her.
Xena: I didn't know I'm sorry.

(Then it does this. But I figured it out, they did two different dialogues, and felt out which one they wanted in one scene so they didn't have to repeat it.)

Hope: She is Evil. She deserves to die.
Xena: Maybe even to suffer a little.


And another scene where Joxer talks to Gabrielle about her daughter:

Joxer: That was hope?! That was your daughter huh??? Wow...if it's any consolation she's nothing like you...
(Gabrielle looks at him exasperated and walks away)
Joxer: and um...I wasn't fooled.
(he follows after her).

Callisto and Hope are my two favourite characters, and the stories between them and Gabrielle and Xena are very intricate and complex, and deal with a real dilemma. That I would have loved to explore/write more about...which I will.
