Lucy only signed twice, at the 1st convention in 1997, and last year's London con, which I attended. In London, Creation claimed to have begged Lucy a long time before she would agree to sign. From what I've heard, after the 1st con, Lucy disagreed with Creation that only gold members receive autographs at future cons. She supposedly told Creation she would not sign unless everyone gets an autograph. At 2007 con, a fan asked Lucy if she would ever do photo ops. Lucy said she didn't want us fans to pay for it. She's standing by what she thinks is fair, and I agree!

I've given up trying to get to Lucy at the cons unless a miracle happens. lol. The only autograph I received from her in person was at London con, but for those lucky enough, it has been much easier getting photos and autographs with Lucy by attending non Xena events such as the concerts at Universal and San Francisco last year. Now that Lucy lives in NZ again, I see all these pictures of her from the Sign On Campaign, signing autographs. This, without paying a bundle, like Xena con, nor Creation shielding her heavily from us fans. I also think Creation makes all the calls on who does what since each attending celeb has to sign a contract for appearing. It would still be nice if Lucy would do 1 photo op and 1 autograph session someday for the annual con. I figure, she agreed to a photo op for Chicago. Why not at the big con, even for charity!
