As we all know, as artists, whether amateur or pro, we all have pride, and ego, and sometimes it borders on arrogance.
And maybe it IS my arrogance talking, who knows.
I just can't help from being mad. No, not just mad, I'm bloody furious. I get extremely, extremely angry, when people who have no or less artistic background tell you that your art is fugly.
What RIGHT do you have?! Why would you say such an insipid STUPID thing and insult me that way?
I get it, you have different tastes, you don't like what I did.
Let me tell you this. I value constructive criticism. I don't really wanna hear all the 'oh, it's great!' or 'it looks good!' or 'awesome!' any more than that either, no offense. But I mean, I'm sure you're doing that out of the kindness of your own heart, and you are expressing how much you like a piece, so I am partially grateful.
But for the love of god, please do NOT insult me, and judge my work, if you have a lot less knowledge in the field than me, as in you don't practice at all. 'Fugly' is not constructive. Also, please learn to read about background and comments when the artists post them. It's not there for a horse's ass to read. When I say I didn't post-process, it MEANS i didn't post process. DO no tell me that I need to learn to crop, because that would be post-processing. Do NOT, absolutely NOT take my picture, and adjust it for me and then rub it in my face and tell me how much more awesome it is that way. Because that makes you a JACKASS.

If there something you would've preferred to see done differently, please express it, POLITELY. Offer what you would've done different, and why, and say why you feel that what I'm doing isn't working for you. Art is highly subjective and whether you have experience or not, I'm sure you're all capable of expressing things properly without sounding like someone shoved a metal rod through your frontal lobe. Same thing with writing, same thing with painting, same thing with acting and EVERYTHING creative.
I'm sure some of you can easily attest to the fact that I DO take criticism, and I do measure them, but in the end, it might be my decision to apply certain elements or not.
This rant isn't directed at anyone here. But some of the people I was barely considering friends anymore are really making me wanna burn bridges here.
