It's like a mixture of old timeness with the "new" slightly manga/anime inspired one. I'm in no ways a gourmet when it comes to my comics/cartoons, but I think this could be fun. It's a good contrast to the darkness of the most recent movies. I enjoy being a girl.

I hate the idea of yet another kiddie cartoon of the Batman fighting monsters and aliens with a bunch of second rate guys in tights. I much prefer the darker Nolan films. It's nice to have a choice of which Batman to watch.

But if you don't market it towards a younger audience, you miss out on most merchandising revenue so of course, money wins.
