Is there going to be a time limit to get in the nominations? Just wondering, because the computer I have access to won't let me log onto XOC (hence why I've been absent a while ) and I am currently at my aunt's house using her computer. I will have to get back here to post my nominations, as I need time to think them through first.

Sorry! But I feel the need to justify and/or explain my choices in detail . So here goes...

Best Shipper Episode, Season 1-4

*The Reckoning our first introduction to their amazing chemistry
*Ties That Bind an affirmative to the question of whether or not Ares cares for Xena as more than just a favored warrior when it came down to it, he couldnt kill her and the look he gave her as he faded away was so heartbreaking, it almost made me forget what a nasty little trick he pulled.
*Ten Little Warlords an affirmative that Xena herself feels more for Ares than just helping mankind restore peace and balance by restoring his godhood. She almost kissed him...if that warlord didnt already have an axe in his back, I would happily put one there for ruining such an intimate moment.
*The Dirty Half Dozen Ares all but admits out loud that he does care for Xena and in his own way, seeks her out to try and protect her (by telling her to just leave Agathon alone because he doesnt want her to get killed)say it with meawwww
*The Bitter Suite the singing, the dancing, the looksoh, come melt into me, most definitely!

Best Shipper Episode, Season 5-6 (gosh too many to choose)

*Eternal Bonds a dream is a wish your heart makesXena soooo wanted him and to think, had he not mentioned the give me a child line she probably wouldve have been more receptive to him in real life.
*Amphipolis Under Seige The look on Xenas face when Ares rejects her, the smokin hot temple scene, the temple scene getting interrupted by the wall blast but the two of them keep going at it until Mom shows up, Ares standing up to his family for his girl and them fighting sided by side with eachotherand the biggiethe affirmative that Ares feelings in their relationship is not one-sided, Xena admits she feels something too.
*Looking Death In the Eye Ares stopping Xena from stabbing herself, holding her in his arms as she gives up and then lovingly taking her body to a special tomb and giving a beautiful eulogy
*Livia This episode only for the bacchanalia scene. All she needed to do was prove to Augustus that Livia was involved with Ares and for Livia to see that Ares doesnt really care about herand Ares out right confession of being willing to dump Livia if Xena gave him a chance was all she needed to prove her point. That kiss, (so HOT) was not necessary but she indulged in it anywayand totally enjoyed it Im sure.
*Motherhood Ares admits he loves her to her face and makes the ultimate sacrifice proving it.
*Coming Home the calm after the stormthe place we had wished the two of them would finally reach, wellup until Xena says hes still bad for her (what does she know? De-nial aint just a river in Egypt).

Best Xena/Ares scene, S1-4

*The Reckoning the alt. world seduction scenes
*The Reckoning - Xena holding Ares hand for a moment. She outplayed him and all's well that ends well
*Ties That Bind Ares kicking the sword up to impale Xena but using his godly power to halt it before it makes contact with her and then fading away.
*Ten Little Warlords Xena bandaging Ares wound, followed by the almost kiss
*The Bitter Suite - War medley, segwaying (sp?) up to the Tango

Best Xena/Ares scene, S5-6 (so many to choose from again)

*Motherhood Ares' sacrifice/Xena realizing what Ares did and thanking him

*The Dirty Half Dozen Agathon telling Ares that he is the one that better not underestimate Xena, due to his hot spot for her.
*The Quill is Mightier Ares going on and on about Xena to Gabrielle talking about how good she is at what she does.
*God Fearing Child Ares confessing his love for Xena after she had already walked away from him.
*Amphipolis Under Seige Ares asking Athena if he could just take Xena and Eve away instead of her continuing her pursuit of them.
*Amphipolis Under Seige Gabrielle and Ares discuss Xena and their deal. Gabrielle points out that Ares is obsessed with the new Xena


Best shipper moment without Ares

*Ties That Bind The conversation between Atrius (since technically Xena doesn't know he's really Ares in disguise) and Xena she says that he should know that she did terrible things in her past and he replies: You dont need to explain. Whats past is past. I only care about the future-- our future. And dont be ashamed of your past, Xena. Its made you the great woman you are today.
*Ten Little Warlords (technically its without Xena as well) Gabrielle is angry that Xena went off with Ares and shes ranting about it as she makes landfall on Sisyphus island with her little boat.
*The Furies (although Ares was nearby, the comment was not directed at him) Xena reveals that she thinks Ares is her father and so since her father is still alive she doesnt have to kill her mother to avenge his death, she then turns to Cyrene and says Look at that hunk of burning love you had, Mom.
*Amphipolis Under Seige Xena admitting she felt something for Ares.
*Old Ares Had A Farm (and maybe I'm reaching here with my own interpretation, but it was shippery to me). Xena says that after Ares is settled, she and Gabrielle are leaving and he can get his dancing girls for all she cares, but she the look on her face does not match the I dont care attitude of her voice. Gabrielle picks up on it to which Xena starts to protest the inquisitive look, and I think Xena covers by going with Gabrielles nostalgic childhood memories story.

Motherhood Xena shoots Ares in the leg with the crossbow after he tells her that she wouldnt shoot him.
