Yes, Callisto is compelling in this ep. I like watching it for Xena's speech in Cirra and the way Gabrielle reacts to it.
Without Gabrielle there would be NO Xena

Gabrielle asking Xena if she thinks that, deep down, Callisto is sorry for the things she's done; Xena responding with an emphatic NO!, and Gabrielle
saying she'd like to believe that she is, so she can forgive her and move on. Very interesting and revealing of both characters.
