Here I am, reading about Christian Pilgrimages and all of a sudden the words on the page sent me off and I just had to stop by and make a thread on it so I can go back to concentrating on what I'm supposed to be doing.
The thing that got me thinking was the reference to the Pilgrims imitations of the Passion (of the Christ).
This got me thinking about that familiar intro we all know and love (well most of us anyhow). I've never really thought about exactly what "The
Passion" referred to, the Power, Danger and Courage are all pretty straightforward. However now, the more I think about The Passion the more filled with
possibilities it becomes.
What is your interpretation of it? What type of Passion is it to you?
What does it mean to you? What do you think TPTB meant by including it? Is there a Christian reference in there?

). However, those are followed by
fight scenes so I think it also refers to Xena's passion for battle.
I know I am not alone when I say I saw it from the moment they
saw one another in SOTP...but I acknowledge that it may be a somewhat biased point of view.
