Lost is back January 31st, thought I'd post a thread for season 4.
So has anyone seen the different trailers for season 4, I'm really looking forward to it. Remember to post spoiler spaces, for anything. Not sure if trailers/previews count.

I saw the long trailer a few days ago. It was amazing! I just cannot wait for the new season to start. I wonder when some of the survivors will get rescued, in
the first 8 episodes or maybe not until the very end. And I'm reeally looking forward to the flashforwards.

. . . . . . . . . . . . That part where Hurley is surrounded by all those graves (I'm assuming) is very moving. I'm wondering if those are for everyone who have already died or are they for those who won't make it through the season. And then right after the "Some will not" caption they show Sayid! I hope they don't kill him. He didn't that much air time in season 3, so Iwas hoping to see more of him this season. I'm so excited for this season. I do support the writers, but I want it to be over in time so they can do finish the season. |

I've seen all the promos and I'm really hyped for season 4.
I agree I support the writers strike, I hope it ends soon. I have no problems with season 4 perhaps ending in June. SPOILER . . . . . . . . . . . . Naomi is alive and is trying to kill Kate. Oh my Jack, Kate, Sayid, Sun, Jin and Hurley only ones to make it off the Island. Hurley goes to Jacobs shack and finds Jacks Dad who I assume is Jacob. Hurley by the graves is very moving. Poor Hurley. His best male and female friend are gone. Charlie and Libby were so close to Hurley. Claire and Hurley will no doubt bond over Charlies death.

I really like the first season 4 promo pic with the city's reflection in the water. As I was looking at the second, it occurred to me how much smaller the cast is. It just seems a shadow of its former self. I kinda wish that they would stop killing off the characters we've come to like. |

Yeah its the same as season 3, without Charlie. Although maybe the new regulars will not be added until episode 4 or 5 in the cast photo. I've noticed in the past, the first promo pic released only has the full cast who were in the previous season, a new one may come out later with new additions, unless this season theres no new regulars. I agree, I wish they stop killing off characters, kill more recurring characters, except I dont want Danielle, Rose or Bernard to go, they have been with us for so long.

Juliet became a regular and was in just about every ep...but not a star in the way that Desmond became one of the leads. For season 2, they very definitely left Ana Lucia and Eko off of the promo pics, since the very existence of their characters was a HUGE spoiler. Although given that Ana turned up in the season 1 finale, and it had already been announced that she'd be a regular in season2, that was sort of a giveaway. For seaosn 3, Ben and Desmond got their pics included...but again, we'd already seen them. Now we've seen Juliet, so she's in too. All the new characters may end up being like Libby, Rose and Bernard, Danielle, etc. and we see them only sporadically. Of course remember that Harold Perrineu will be back at some point. Of the "originals," Charlie, Boone and Shannon and Walt are the only ones gone, and we will surely see Walt again too. For that matter, Dom Monaghan definitely filmed something for this season, surely a flashback scene for someone else. ~August~

So, what did you think of this episode? I am a huge fan, slightly obsessed actually. I have a big whiteboard in the center room where I work and I wrote
"Happy LOST Day!" People thought I was crazy. Anyway, I was a bit dissappointed in the first episode to be honest. First, I hate when they say 2
hour premiere but the first hour is just a recap episode. I was left at the end of this episode feeling like I wanted more (of course) but also that the
episode really didn't seem to go anywhere. I kept waiting for the excitement to begin and then the episode was over. It was a good episode as far as
character development, etc., but the hype made it sound like it was going to be non-stop action so perhaps I set my sights too high. Anyway, I am looking
forward to the rest of the season! The guy who plays Ben was interviewed on the radio and said there would be more fighting scenes and explosions than in any
other season. Should be good!
BTW, a few weeks ago I started watching season 1 again and MAN it is so good and reminded me of why I love this show soooo darn much!

Hurley in a high speed chase, who knew he was such a rebel. The flash forwards were pretty interesting in this episode. We know there are 6 people who make it off. so far it's Jack, Kate, Hurley, the mystery person in the coffin (presumably it is a member of the 6) and 2 others. I have read some big spoilers about who the mysterious person is that Kate refers to while talking to Jack, but I won't spoil anyone. Charlie freaking out Hurley and then smacking him. Poor Hurley, he was just not having a good day in his future life. At least he was able to do his canon-ball. O how I love this show. |

Hmm, I don't really know what to comment on after seeing the episode. I thought the ending with the guy was more annoying than exciting as a cliffhanger.
Not annoying as in, "No, I never want the episode to end!" More like "Huh?"
 Have we seen him before?

I note that Davies (Dan, the "physicist") Mader (Charlotte the anthropologist) and Leung (Miles, the ghostbuster/"soil samples" guy) all
are in the credits now as regular cast members, just like Jack and Kate, while Fahey (the pilot) Reddick (Matthew Abaddon who hired them, and later visits
Hurley in the mental hospital) Stevens (Mankowski, whose voice we hear) and Zoe Bell (she was the voice of Regina, on board the freighter) are only credited as
guest stars, like Jack's dad, Rose and Bernard, people like that.
Interesting group of people to be going up against Ben and, as far as they knew, 50+ armed and dangerous Others, when naomi seems to have been the only one w/ any sort of weapons training..... ~August~

spoiler + + + + + + + + + SAYID episode! Yay! Obviously we know who else made it off the island by the first commercial. But who knows, nothing is completely accurate in this show. I love Kate and Jack. Funny quote- Kate: "Kinda sucks, huh?" Jack: "What's that?" Kate: "Being told not to come along." [Jack Laughs] "Now you know what it feels like to be me." Jack: "Does that mean I should wait 20 minutes and go anyway?" 
lol I'm not sure if anyone else found that quote as amusing as I did. OMGOD! I loved the ending!!!! Okay, my prediction has been that one of the final six is baby Aaron. That could also be who Kate refers to as "Him" in the last episode of last season. Any one else have any thoughts on the final six?
