When I first saw TOTKO years ago (on Sci-Fi in my pre-fandom days), I remember thinking the detective genre was not a good fit for X:WP. I liked the feel of it being more a stage play than short film because it took place completely inside Cyrene's Inn (which is suddenly remodeled LoL !).

Playing the who and how became secondary as it went along turning the enjoyable part of a character focus episode.
