Tonight Show trip before the con?

So......

Since I'll be in LA early on Wed. Feb 3, around 10am, and all day Thurs. Feb 4, I've been thinking quite a bit about the possibility of getting the chance to see a taping of the Tonight Show in Universal City on one of those days. Never been to a live taping of a show before so thought it would be a fun experience if I can secure tickets.

I know it would probably be an all afternoon affair what...

Los Angeles sights/attractions/hot tips?!!!! :D

Hey Folks,

I recently came upon some money (sounds like i got an inheritance, but no .... Student Loans are the best) and I found a cheap flight to LA. And miracles happen....
so I am hoping to stumble upon another one.

CON might be once in a life time for me so if it's on I want to do it extravagantly!

extra costs for online tickets

Pfeeewwww! I just ordered the Photo Ops tickets and the Roc autograph tickets. At the end they charged me 36 USD extra. Outrages!!!! Ok, they can charge handling charges. But shipping costs? The tickets are not even mailed. Either they keep them or you get them by email.

But charging 7 USD for every ticket you purchased in 1 order is soooo outrages!!!! If you make separate purchases for each ticket ok, I can understand it. But when you purchase 5 tickets in 1 order it is...

Hey everyone!

Creation was giving me some trouble last week when I was trying to order:
- 2x Renee O'Connor photo op tickets and
- 2x Renee O'Connor autograph tickets.

So now I have two of both over and to no real use (okay yes, I could surely damn well use them, but, yeah, it wasnt really in the budget) and am wondering if anyone might possibly be interested in buying them? For the same price as they sell...

I don't snore. My room is reserved 4 nights, Th-Sun. I have a great sense of humor. I can be quiet or loud, which ever you prefer, we can hang out in our jammies and do eachothers hair and nails while we eat twinkies and talk about boys/girls/goats/whatever! Let me know! I still need to sell my ticket since I cannot go to the convention this year. The seat row/number is G39. I still have the Invoice and the PDF attachment of the ticket itself, etc. that will go to the person who buys it so they can put the ticket in their name. I just read the marvelous idea of MaryD to wear only Green T-shirts when Lucy comes onto stage at the Con.

Gabyfan and I are already thinking of having some T-shirts printed with the slogan MaryD came up with : Green Goes XWP

Convention Newbie Guide

Hey... over the winter break, among my many other things I'll be doing (redesigning the paper, the ad rate card, training a new designer), I'll be reworking the convention guide. Since I've managed to lose the original DOC file (don't know how that happened), I'll need to rewrite the guide. But since it was largely me and my experiences from going to conventions, I think it be a good idea to get input from others.

So, what are the essential parts that should...

Autographs with Musetta Vander, Paris Jefferson, Victoria Pratt, Gina Torres and Renee O'Connor are not part of this particular package and must be purchased separately. Lucy Lawless will not be signing autographs at the convention.

They've signed on and the announcement should be going out any moment now, so keep your eyes peeled on your inboxes. The webmaster is updating the convention website as we speak.
Lucy and Renee will do their duo spot on Friday and Lucy will do her solo spot that day. Renee will do her solo spot on Sunday as well as her photo ops and autographs.

question about the photo ops

Gabyfan and I have done some photo ops with Roc, Brittney Powell.

This year we have some other on our list. For Roc and Brittney we went single on the photo so we bought a ticket each for each photo ops.

Now this year we want depending on the celebrity to go both on 1 picture. Example Adrienne and the 2 of us. Do we have to buy only 1 ticket? 1 Ticket is 1 photo or is it 1 ticket per person?

Then we have the grouped photo ops:
1) Cleopatra 2525 there...
