So, I've never made anything X/A and just thought I'd try something since this song has always reminded me of them. I'm not entirely pleased with the way it turned out, definitely not one of my best banners...oh well.

I'm not sure if this has been discussed before, sorry if it has! Do you think that Xena and Ares could have gotten together and created a long-lasting relationship when Ares was a god? There are no shippers that wouldn't love to see these two together in a relationship, but would it have worked out if Ares couldn't grow up together with Xena? Don't kick me out of the shippish forum for saying that but don't you...

I was reading The Xena Scrolls' thread about Eternal Bonds hot dream and the last post launch a very interesting interrogative that I don't know if it has been ever treated here.

Though I haven't written much in the last two years, I haven't been completely failing. I've had one little piece that I've been working on more recently, but too many parts of it keep nagging at me.

I know some people may see this as an 'inconsistency' because of The Reckoning, but if you think about it, we can make sense of it. Perhaps Ares wanted to 'test' Xena, to see if she was truly worthy of being the #1 warrior he sought after. Its an awfully good plan, as he was killing two birds with one stone; confirming whether or not Xena was 'the one', and having Darfus kill the half brother he's always hated, Hercules.

Now you can argue that Ares stole...
